Pionex taps have several design features which contribute to their extended tool life. Tapered threads improve chip evacuation, while Guhring’s multi-layer Sirius coating provides high wear resistance and improved chip evacuation. The series 4648 tap has radial coolant ducts to help with both chip flow and heat reduction.
