Drill Counterbore
Drills with a counterbore work to create a hole perfectly cut to fit a screw or similarly sized plug. The drill cutting tool creates the shaft for the insertion of the screw while the counterbore enlarges to top of the hole, creating a cylindrical opening with a flat bottom for the screw or plug to rest upon. Like all multi-function tooling, the Drill Counterbore does multiple jobs at once, allowing for machinists to accomplish more between tooling changes.
